You are probably wondering who Turwethiel is. Turwethiel is me, Victoria! She is the former shieldmaiden of Arwen Undomiel herself, with a spirit as fiery as her crimson hair. In the battles against evil in the time of The Lord of the Rings, Turwethiel disguised herself as a man and marched with the elves in their last stand against the orcs to aid the men in Rohan against dark forces. She was wounded severely, and her gender nearly discovered, but she forced herself to recover quickly and was soon at her mistress's side once more.
Turwethiel, now older and essaying to settle down into a quieter life, has returned to her birthplace in Lothlorien; she hopes someday, when it is time, to follow her distant relative Galadriel to Valinor.
